I am an artist with passion for gardens, drawing and writing
I love flora and landscapes, birds and trees. I love the singing of the blackbird in the evening, the smell of honeysuckle and the taste of wild strawberries. I am passionate about gardens and the importance of harmony with nature for our lives.
my whole life i worked in the creative industries, as a designer, artist, illustrator and teacher. my own work i developed with a focus from a very large scale like landscapes towards smaller scales like gardens. As I grow older I zoom more and more into smaller space as I kno concentrate more on plants and flowers and their relations with animals and insects.

i am trained as a spatial designer, at the Technical University Delft. I studied architecture and landscape architecture and designed for more than 30 years inside and outside spaces. I have great knowledge about spatial (specially garden) design and I like to bring this to others.
art
because i loved the drawingpractice of design, the visualisation and sketching, i studied art in evening hours at the artacademy of Utrecht and focussed on landscapes. researched landscapes in 2d, how you look at a landscape, seeing, hearing, feeling and with all your own memories the landscape becomes personal

later on in 2002 master of Art, Architecture and design at the university from Leicester.From hereon I started again to research different perspectives of landscapes in installations
